- Teen Accounts (13-17): Require parental consent and setup
- Under 13: Not permitted to use the Service
2.2 Legal Capacity
By using this Service, you represent that you:
- Have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements
- Are involved in or have been involved in Texas family law proceedings, OR
- Are preparing for potential custody arrangements or co-parenting situations
3. Account Registration & Security
3.1 Account Creation
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain and update your information
- You are responsible for all activity under your account
- Do not share your password or account access
3.2 Account Types
- Primary Parent Account: Full access to all features
- Co-Parent Account: Linked access with shared information
- Child Account: Limited access with parental oversight
- Third-Party Account: Restricted access (grandparents, family members)
- Professional Account: Attorney, mediator, or evaluator access
4. Acceptable Use
4.1 Permitted Uses
TexParent Hub is designed for:
- Co-parent communication and coordination
- Custody schedule management
- Expense tracking and reimbursement
- Document storage and organization
- Journal and record-keeping
- Creating court-admissible evidence
4.2 Prohibited Conduct
You agree NOT to:
- Harassment: Send threatening, abusive, or harassing messages
- False Information: Provide false or misleading information
- Impersonation: Impersonate another person or entity
- Data Manipulation: Attempt to alter timestamps, read receipts, or message content
- System Interference: Hack, disrupt, or overload the platform
- Unauthorized Access: Access accounts or data without permission
- Court Order Violations: Violate protective orders or custody agreements
- Illegal Content: Share illegal, defamatory, or obscene content
- Commercial Use: Use the platform for unauthorized commercial purposes
5. Court-Admissible Records
Important Legal Notice: All communications and records on TexParent Hub are designed to be court-admissible evidence. Your messages, expenses, calendar events, and documents may be presented in court proceedings.
5.1 Evidence Features
- Immutable Timestamps: All communications are timestamped and cannot be altered
- Read Receipts: Message delivery and read status are tracked
- Complete History: Full communication history is preserved
- Export Capabilities: Data can be exported for court filings
- Professional Access: Attorneys can review communications
5.2 Data Preservation
To maintain evidence integrity:
- Messages cannot be deleted (only accounts can be deactivated)
- Historical records are preserved indefinitely
- Even deleted accounts retain communication history
- Edits and changes are tracked and timestamped
6. AI Tone Analysis
6.1 Feature Description
TexParent Hub offers AI-powered message tone analysis to:
- Identify potentially inflammatory language
- Suggest neutral alternatives
- Promote productive communication
- Reduce conflict
6.2 Limitations & Disclaimers
- AI suggestions are not legal advice
- You are solely responsible for your messages
- AI may not catch all problematic language
- Final message content is your decision
- Court will judge your actual words, not AI suggestions
7. Payment & Fees
7.1 Free Service
- All features available at no cost
- Supported by non-intrusive advertising
- No hidden fees or charges
- No credit card required
- No premium tiers or paid subscriptions
8. Intellectual Property
8.1 Platform Ownership
TexParent Hub owns all rights to:
- Platform design, code, and functionality
- Logos, trademarks, and branding
- AI algorithms and features
- Documentation and content
8.2 Your Content
You retain ownership of content you create, but grant us license to:
- Store and display your content
- Share with your linked co-parent and authorized users
- Process through AI features (tone analysis)
- Preserve for court-admissible records
- Comply with legal requests and court orders
9. Third-Party Links & Services
TexParent Hub may contain links to:
- Texas court websites
- Legal resource centers
- Support organizations
- Service providers
We are not responsible for third-party content, services, or privacy practices.
10. Disclaimers & Limitations of Liability
10.1 Service "As Is"
Important: TexParent Hub is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
We do NOT warrant:
- Uninterrupted or error-free service
- Complete accuracy of information
- Specific legal outcomes in court
- Prevention of all platform misuse
- 100% security (though we implement best practices)

TexParent Hub is NOT a law firm and does NOT provide legal advice.
- AI suggestions are NOT legal counsel
- Platform features do NOT replace an attorney

- Court outcomes depend on your specific circumstances
10.3 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Texas law:
- We are NOT liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Total liability limited to fees paid (if any) in the past 12 months
- We are NOT responsible for user conduct or misuse
- We are NOT liable for court decisions or legal outcomes
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TexParent Hub from claims arising from:
- Your use or misuse of the Service
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of laws or court orders
- Content you submit to the platform
- Disputes with your co-parent or other users
12. Texas Law Compliance
12.1 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
12.2 Texas Family Code
TexParent Hub is designed to support compliance with:
- Texas Family Code ยง 153.015 (Court-ordered communication methods)
- Standard Possession Order (SPO) requirements
- Texas Rules of Evidence
- DFPS record-keeping standards
12.3 Protective Orders
If you have a protective order:
- Upload it to your account immediately
- We will enforce communication restrictions
- Violations will be documented and may be reported
- Solo Mode may be required for communication
13. Account Termination
13.1 Termination by You
You may deactivate your account at any time, but:
- Historical communications remain accessible to co-parent
- Records are preserved for legal compliance
- Your name will show as "(Deleted Profile)"
- Court-admissible evidence is retained
13.2 Termination by Us
We may suspend or terminate accounts for:
- Violation of these Terms
- Harassment or abuse of other users
- Illegal activity
- Court order requiring suspension
- Extended inactivity (with notice)
14. Dispute Resolution
14.1 Informal Resolution
Before filing a lawsuit, you agree to contact us at [email protected] to attempt informal resolution.
14.2 Mandatory Arbitration
All disputes must be resolved through binding arbitration in Tarrant County, Texas, except for:
- Issues related to ongoing family law proceedings
- Protective order violations
- Intellectual property disputes
By using TexParent Hub, you agree to waive your right to a jury trial for disputes covered by this arbitration clause.
14.3 Venue
For disputes not subject to arbitration, any legal action must be brought in state or federal courts in Tarrant County, Texas.
15. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms:
- To comply with Texas law changes
- To reflect new features or services
- To improve clarity
Material changes will be announced via:
- Email notification (14 days advance notice)
- In-app announcement
- Updated "Last Modified" date
Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
16. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
17. Entire Agreement
These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy and Texas Compliance page, constitute the entire agreement between you and TexParent Hub.
